The British Newspaper Archive has digitised copies of The Bournemouth Daily Echo newspaper from 1900 to 1910. It was established in 1900 with its first issue published on 20th August 1900.

New refreshment kiosk on “Pokesdown Beach”, 1907, which helps dates photos of this era – if the kiosk is in the photo, it’s 1907 onwards! This is in the Bournemouth Guardian:

What I like about this next snippet from an 1899 council meeting, is that it mentions Dr Dickie, whose house ‘Windermere’ is shown on the 1898 map of Pokesdown on history page 2, and Mr Bolton, who is like the founding father of urban Pokesdown, discussing advertising hoardings on the main road, as can be seen in the otherwise picturesque photo of Pokesdown Hill on history page 1:
